– Floor shift 3-speed transmission only. The inner shift boot covers where the shifter arm goes into the transmission. It helps keep dust, dirt , mud and water from entering the transmission through the top. Often times, aged boots will dry out and crack, allowing contaminants into the transmission. – This is only the inner boot. The outer boot that bolts to the transmission hump is no longer available.
